Klipschorn NIGHTS: Phill Niblock, 10/5/2014
Klipschorn NIGHTS: Phill Niblock is a rare event presented by sound artist & curator Maria Chavez.
An individual recently expressed interest in working with Maria, allowing her access to their loft in Brooklyn that house a Klipschorn standing speaker system. Due to the size, it’s difficult to find a full system like this completely functional. Aside from that, the name Klipsch is one that is highly respected among audio engineer circles.
Upon hearing that these speakers existed in New York City, celebrated sound artist Phill Niblock expressed interest in presenting his sound work through them. Phill will present work alongside video artist, Katherine Liberovskaya. Opening the evening is Carver Audain.
RSVP is essential in order to attend. This event is being presented in a private residence so all measures are being taken in order to ensure privacy of the loft owner. CLICK HERE TO RSVP.
